You will support clients and guide them through their transformation programmes. Your role will involve working within various international Deloitte teams where you will assess the client’s current situation, support analysis and preparation of recommendations, and get involved in delivery of change. An understanding of the business challenges relevant to global organisations in the Life sciences, Banking, Insurance and/or Manufacturing industries is key.

The Sourcing & Procurement team supports high-profile clients and guides them in all aspects of outsourcing advisory projects from strategy definition through to vendor selection, negotiation and transition.

What you can expect from us

• While our projects are focused on the Swiss market, you will typically work in 
  an engagement with a large, global scope that provides room for taking on 
  responsibility and bringing creative approaches.
• In addition to working on client engagements you will also support the 
  development of proposals, market propositions and lead internal practice 
  development initiatives.
• As a Manager (or above) you will be executing roles where you have 
  opportunities to: 
o Take ownership of engagements i.e. leading delivery in the context of people 
   management, financials, delivery to quality, client interaction and 
   responsibility for the deliverables of others
o Manage teams with a variety of skillsets and experience
o Develop people and provide career guidance, through your responsibility as a 
   Coach
o Build and manage client relationships independently
o Provide subject matter expertise
o Identify and develop opportunities with clients and lead related pursuit 
   activities
• In the IT sourcing capability, you will be focusing on engagements where we 
  advise, support and guide our clients in all aspects of technology 
  transformation and sourcing. This includes:
o Pre-deal advisory engagements, supporting clients in selecting their sourcing 
   strategy and assessing the as-is vendor environment 
o Sourcing engagements where we help clients to structure and conduct an 
   RFP cycle
o Transition and transformation engagements, supporting the transition of IT 
   services from current to future sourcing models, structuring the transition plan 
   and supporting the client to manage the vendors transition activities

Your qualifications

• You are fluent in English and preferably in German. Any other additional 
  languages are advantageous 
• You are fully flexible to travel
• You have a university level degree (Master, MBA or PhD) preferably with a 
  business/IT major 
• You have a minimum of 5 years of previous work experience ideally with a 
  recognized major consulting firm, or a comparable role in a service provider or 
  within industry
• In your previous position you have performed a role in one or more of the 
  following:
o Manage work packages in one or several stages of the sourcing lifecycle from 
   sourcing strategy development, RFI/RFP development, evaluation, 
   contracting, negotiation and transition design 
o Manage large scale transition programmes, e.g. in the space of IT 
   Infrastructure outsourcing
o Manage the strategic planning, development, and coordination of sourcing 
   activities and evaluated efforts to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of 
   the program
o Manage and supported contractual negotiations and contract administration 
   and pursued innovative ways to continuously improve spend
o Ensure implementation applicable service level agreements and contract 
   terms 
o Learn methodologies and best practice approaches, (such as PMI, Prince2, 
   Lean Six Sigma)
