Our Learning & Development team is looking for you! 

We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic Head of Learning and Development to become responsible for the transformation of Deloitte’s learning environment in Switzerland with the aim of improving our capability to drive and deliver our talent strategy.

You will have the opportunity to implement a learning agenda that is integrated with our strategic talent priorities, deliver a world-class learning curriculum for pivotal roles, and ensure the application of leading-edge learning approaches, including digital learning.

The Head of Learning and Development Switzerland will build relationships with business leaders, and collaborate closely with other member firms and the internal University to drive the Swiss business’ learning agenda for continued innovation and impact. You will have the opportunity to engage top leadership in building a learning culture. You will mentor and develop the learning team, focusing on building capabilities and enhancing knowledge on the latest trends and tools.


Your responsibilities

• Assess the current learning environment then design and implement an innovative and engaging learning environment to enhance the effectiveness of our people performance and achieve our Swiss business strategy.
• Collaborate with Talent Partners and other stakeholders to identify key competencies and gaps for business-critical roles, support the design of career development paths and design the relevant key learning programs.
• Incorporate a range of blended learning tools and approaches. These include classroom forums, in-field applications, personal and results-oriented feedback, and online engagement.
• Identify, clarify, design, facilitate, and sponsor learning & development components throughout every element of the Swiss talent management process
• Provide thought leadership and research world-class approaches to leadership development and learning.
• Design and implement customized leadership development interventions to accelerate the growth of our current and future leadership team. Lead initiatives for deployment of North Western Europe-driven learning and development initiatives.
• Leverage and use organizational data and analytics to develop strategies that improve organizational effectiveness and systematically measure the learning impact for continuous improvement.
• Develop and manage external vendor/partner relationships resulting in high-quality, cost-effective learning solutions.
• Provide strategic direction and day-to-day guidance for a L&D team of 5 specialists


Your qualifications

• 8+ years of Leadership Development & Talent Management experience, within a similar leadership role
• A good University degree in a relevant subject (e.g. HR, Psychology or Education) or equivalent and post graduate qualification.
• Broad experience/knowledge of Leadership Development and Talent Management best practices with significant experience designing and implementing those programs.
• Experience of leading teams successfully to deliver large scale projects and change.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving abilities paired with strong implementation skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Excellent consulting and project management; ability to influence through data-driven recommendations.
• Strong relationship building skills and the ability to work with people at varying levels in the organization.
• Experience in managing the budgeting process
• Digital fluency.
• Passion and curiosity for boosting learning innovation and making an impact that matters.
• Fluency in English is essential.
