The Sourcing & Procurement team supports high-profile clients and guides them in all aspects of outsourcing advisory and service consolidation from strategy definition through to operating model and vendor selection, planning, negotiation and transition. The outsourcing advisory assignments include both business process and information technology outsourcing as well as shared services and robotics process automation topics. Your role will involve working within various international Deloitte teams where you will assess the client’s current situation, support analysis and preparation of recommendations, and get involved in delivery of change. An understanding of the business challenges relevant to global organisations in the Life sciences, Banking, Insurance and/or Manufacturing industries is key.

What you can expect from us

• While our projects are focused on the Swiss market, you will typically work in 
  an engagement with a large, global scope that provides room for taking on

• In addition to working on client engagements you will also support the 
  development of proposals, market propositions and lead internal practice 
  development initiatives.
• As a Manager (or above) you will be executing roles where you have 
  opportunities to: 
o Take ownership of engagements i.e. leading delivery in the context of people 
  management, financials, delivery to quality, client interaction and responsibility 
   for the deliverables of others
o Manage teams with a variety of skillsets and experience
o Develop people and provide career guidance, through your responsibility as a 
   Coach
o Build and manage client relationships independently
o Provide subject matter expertise
o Identify and develop opportunities with clients and lead related pursuit 
   activities
• In the Shared Services and Business Process Outsourcing team, you will be f
  focusing on engagements where we advise, support and guide our clients in 
  all aspects of Shared Services and Outsourcing, including Lean Robotics. 

Typical activities include:
o Advisory engagements, where we support clients in decisions regarding 
  sourcing models (build vs buy) 
o RFI and RFP support to identify the right BPO vendors for our clients
o BPO contract reviews / health checks
o Design of future operating models and preparing the rollout plan to execute 
  transition and transformations
o Transition management support
o Advising on governance models for global business services and service 
  management 
o Proof of concept and deployment of Lean Robotics

Your qualifications

• You are fluent in English and preferably in German. Any other additional 
  languages are advantageous 
• You are fully flexible to travel
• You have a university level degree (Master, MBA or PhD) preferably with a 
  business/IT major 
• You have a minimum of 5 years of previous work experience ideally with a 
  recognized major consulting firm, or a comparable role in a service provider or 
  within industry
• In your previous position you have performed a role in one or more of the f
  following: 
o Develop an understanding of BPO or SSC including strategy, design, process 
   improvements, transition management, BPO vendor selection, process 
   automation (RPA), change management and communication etc
o Prepare Business Case (s) and track benefits for SSC or BPO implementation
o Conduct BPO vendor selection including RFI / RFP, due diligence, bidder 
   evaluation, contract negotiation
o Manage transition programmes, in the space of Finance & Accounting or any 
   other back office process (e.g. Customer Service, HR, Procurement)
o Build up an understanding of the latest market trends in reference to BPO 
   and SSC
o Learn methodologies and best practice approaches, (such as PMI, Prince2, 
   Lean Six Sigma)
